Q: Exactly what is VISCO-ELASTIC Memory Formulation?
Visco-elastic memory material results from NASA research. This revolutionary material is comprised of billions of special open cells which respond individually to pressure, shape and temperature.). A formulation similar to Panache’s formulation was used to cushion and help minimize the stressful effects of gravitational pull (“G” forces) experienced by American astronauts during take off and re-entry. Properly designed, visco provides outstanding pressure relief for all individuals. Visco is now used in a wide variety of products, including mattresses and pillows.

Q: How does Visco-elastic memory material differ from other materials?
Traditional foam provides a lifeless “dead” feel whereas visco-elastic material naturally adjusts to your body weight and temperature. In addition to the slow, conforming response, visco-elastic material offers complete, luxurious and stress free support. Visco-elastic material conforms perfectly to your body. Visco-elastic material accommodates any body shape, size or weight. The superb qualities of visco-elastic material make it a must for the discerning customer who wants the most stress and pressure free sleep surface.

Q: What makes sleeping on Panache Visco-elastic Formulation Mattresses a Luxury Experience?
With perfect body support, “tossing and turning” in bed becomes near totally eliminated, while disrupted sleep patterns become basically eliminated. You sleep longer in one position, in a more comfortable mode…and enjoy the benefits of deeper, more restful sleep patterns. Q: I have allergies. Will they affect how well I sleep on my Panache Visco-elastic memory formulation mattress?
Visco-elastic memory material is anti-microbial, hypoallergenic, dust mite free, mildew resistant and contains no rubber, latex or other allergy related substances.

Q: I used to own a hard mattress, the Panache mattress feels different – shouldn’t I sleep on a firm product?
A “too firm” mattress may restrict blood circulation resulting in capillary constriction and sleep discomfort, coldness, and disturbance as your body struggles to find a comfort zone on hard surfaces. Conforming stress- and pressure-free support is demonstrably superior. The human body has shapes that were never intended to conform to a flat overly firm surface.
Panache visco-elastic memory formulation is engineered to provide the most optimum sleeping surface available, conforming to your body for total relaxation. You will wake up with an extra measure of vitality and, we think, with extra vigor….to add a dash of Panache to each day!

Q: Is there ever an ‘plastic” odor with Panache visco-elastic memory formulation bedding?
Polyurethane-based products may initially have an odor when the mattress is brand new (like the “new car smell” of a new vehicle). Some of us are attuned and sensitive to such odors and while we know that it might be noticeable and/or offensive to some, it is in no way harmful or unhealthy. It will quickly dissipate as the mattress is used. (As the open cells take in new air, this smell disappears.) For anyone who might be particularly sensitive, it will be helpful to leave the product uncovered during the first few days, allowing the air in the home to circulate around your bed.

Q: Is there a break-in period with my new Panache memory formulation mattress?
Most individuals sleep soundly on the mattress on the first night. A few may require an additional period of time to adjust from their conventional mattress to the improved support and pressure relief this product offers. A deeper and better night’s sleep is the usual experience

Q: Can a Panache visco mattress change in feel during usage?
You may notice some natural softening during normal use. Your mattress is engineered to perform in this manner, just as a good pair of leather shoes must conform to your foot in order to be wearable and comfortable. Your mattress incorporates the use of highly specialized memory materials, designed to allow you to feel less pressure, more comfort and provides superior support not found in any other sleep surface.

This natural softening usually takes place within the first few months of use, becoming even more comfortable. If you should notice this occurring or see subtle changes in the surface appearance
at some point, don’t worry – this means your Panache visco formulation mattress is aligning itself to your body – performing as it was engineered & designed.

Q: Will I sleep warmer on the Panache visco-elastic formulation mattress?
Old fashioned mattresses may have hindered blood circulation (resulting in body cooling) during the night. Your new Panache visco-elastic formulation mattress allows constant, continual body temperature – no reduced circulation, and less night time cooling due to pressure points and lack of blood flow to the capillaries. If you are used to sleeping with extra blankets and covers you may no longer need excess bedding. An added plus to superior blood circulation experienced on the new Panache mattress is the continual flow of freshly oxygenated blood to all areas of the body during sleep and, by enclosing Panache visco in breathable Topcool fibers (Eliana mattress) or in Cashmere (Bellissima and Gabriella mattresses--see Cashmere information) body heat is wicked away.

Q: Do I need to flip or turn my Panache visco-elastic memory formulation mattress?
No. Designed in a classic European style, it is never necessary to flip, turn or rotate your mattress. It was engineered to perform without any flips or turns.

Q: Can I use an electric blanket or electric mattress pad with my Panache visco-elastic memory formulation mattress? Should I use a mattress pad?
Your Visco-elastic memory material mattress requires a little different care. Visco-elastic material responds to body and room temperature, weight, shape and humidity. We do not recommend use of an electric blanket or pad with this mattress as the mattress responds to temperature. Prolonged usage of an electric blanket or pad, at high heat may damage the product and impact the products ability to reduce pressure and stress properly. Use of a heavy mattress pad is not recommended only because it can change the way your Visco-elastic memory material product responds to your body. We do recommend you purchase a mattress protector pad, such as that made by Protect A Bed.

Q: Can I wash or spot clean my Panache visco-elastic memory formulation mattress cover?
Spot cleaning is recommended, but never deeply drench the mattress when spot cleaning.

Q: What if I spill something on my visco-elastic memory formulation mattress, can I clean it?
Should you spill something on your Visco-mattress, blot the stain immediately. If the spill is large and the mattress deeply soaked, blot the excess moisture using terry towels and pressure until the area is no longer drenched. Never use chlorine bleach or other harsh chemicals to clean the visco-elastic memory formulation mattress or its cover.

Q: Why does Panache Visco Mattresses sleep "cooler" than some other Visco mattresses?
Panache utilitzes "air flow" technology. This method prepares a special layer that allows air to move freely. This air wicks away body heat, facilitating a cooler, healthier and deeper night's sleep.
